Harmon Profiles H1, H2, H3:

Harmon Profiles H1, H2, H3 can be done either through “a finger prick” or through an “at home venous draw”, and they DO NOT require fasting. A gentle reminder that venous draw appointments can only be scheduled during working days, from Monday to Friday. If you are on treatment with us, please ensure that blood tests are carried out exactly 4-6 hours after taking any Bioidentical Hormone medications (BHRT), in order to assess the absorption levels (unless otherwise instructed by your Harmon Doctor in your “Personalised Health Plan“). If you are a woman experiencing a monthly cycle, blood tests need to be done around DAY 21, based on a 28-day cycle. If your cycle is slightly irregular, the bloods need to be done any time in the second half of your cycle (after ovulation). If your cycle is completely irregular, the bloods need to be done any time, independently of your cycle.

WHEN TO POST YOUR BLOOD SAMPLE: Please be aware that your blood sample needs to be posted in a “priority postbox” on the day it’s taken. In addition, the blood sample needs to be posted before the last collection time on that day, otherwise it will only get to the lab the following day and will sit in a hot postbox overnight. Please look up here where the closest “priority postbox” is to you. We would usually recommend taking your “finger prick test” on a Monday to Thursday to make sure that it gets to our lab safely without delay. In the case of a bank holiday, we recommend posting your sample up until the Wednesday before the bank holiday or waiting until the following Tuesday to take your test. This prevents your sample from being delayed in the post which could affect your results.
