Yes. Differently from some other medical specialties, such as for example surgery, ect, that cannot be performed remotely (even though nowadays progress have been done in the surgical field as well!), hormone replacement therapy in aging is safe and effective when done through telemedicine. This because the most important parameters that the Doctor needs to evaluate to safely prescribe BHRT, apart from the information provided by the patient during each consultation, are the results of the recommended blood tests and screening tests. As long as you provide the results of the requested tests and answer medical questions truthfully, accurately, and completely, telemedicine is safe and effective. Healthcare professionals can only be effective when they have accurate, current information about your case—both in telemedicine and in-person visits. Furthermore, at the beginning of each consultation, your ID will be mandatory double checked by a member of the Harmon Team and by your Harmon Doctor, to make sure it’s you attending the consultation and not someone else.
